Dear Cindy, Dan & Reid,

Thank you for the lovely letter recently received here in Arizona.

In June, Larry accepted an offer to assume Chairmanship of a brand new high school on the Navajo Indian Reservation in Arizona. Upon arriving here I was offered the Librarian position in the local Elementary / Middle School where Sarah and Greta attend classes with all Navajo classmates.

The past few months have been a tremendous adjustment and transition time for us all, but one we are all feeling was worth making.

I cannot fathom the magnitude of your tragedy in the loss of Jessie.

Sarah was deeply grieved by at Jessie's death and still does not want to talk a lot about it. She feels the hurt very privately. At least recently though she will mention Jessie for one reason or another. A few weeks ago we were shopping in Flagstaff and Sarah saw a "funky hat" shop. She tried a few on and one she especially liked she remarked: "I'd buy this one for Jessie if she were still alive." So I know she is working it through her own way. Jessie will always have a place in Sarah's heart.

We wish you the very best in your endeavors!

Sincerely,
Kristen, Larry, Sarah and Greta Rudd
